Gardens in Taiwan

These are photographs from a garden in Taiwan that was once the estate of a wealthy family. The garden features classic Taiwanese architecture and landscaping.

This is a Theater that is in the middle of a pond.

This is an example of classic Chinese architecture. These decorative ceiling pieces are all wooden and are used to support the roof.

Candy Cigarettes are still very popular among Taiwanese children.

These peacocks were caged to add to the beauty of the garden, like a living flower.
