These are photos from Dan shui, Taiwan. I took the red line on the MRT from Taipei to Danshui. There is a hip night market. These are pictures from my adventure there.

(Duck Head Soup...this is a Taiwanese street food stand where you pick all the things you want to eat and put them in a little basket. The cook puts it all into a broth to make a soup. Notice in the top left corner, you can put duck heads in your soup if you like.)

Street Photos in India

These photos were taken on the street in India. I love taking street photos. There is always so much action in India, that there are about 200 good photographs on every block. Sometimes I would take street photos while riding in a rickshaw.

India Travel Photos Ajmer

These are photos of my trip to Ajmer. I went there to see the mosque with the tomb of a famous sufi saint. These are photos taken on the street.

Photo of people in Ajmer India. I like this photo because it shows a lot of action with the kid running down the street smiling, and the man with the bicycle loaded with milk jugs. The streets in India are never still.

Photo of a minaret at a mosque in Marrakesh. Minarets are an architectural structure common in Muslim Mosques. In modern day mosques there are usually speaker attached to the top which blast out the call to pray so people can hear it throughout the city and know when to pray.

Photo of a man walking through the desert in Morocco. I took this photo from my train window when I was traveling between Marrakesh and Casablanca. I like the composition, a single man and a single sheep in the desolate desert.

Photo of Rick's Cafe in Casablanca. I watched the movie Casablanca before I went to Morocco. The whole movie took place in Rick's Cafe, and when I was there I went on a mission to find it. This is not the actual Rick's Cafe (I think that is actually a fictitious place), but this place was built for tourists to visit.

Photo of women at a olive market in Morocco. I love taking pictures at markets. There is always so much action and so many bright colors to capture. I like the contrast of this photo, with the women wearing dark colors, looking at the bright olives. Morocco is known for growing olives, and since olives are one of my favorite foods, it was like heaven there.

Taipei clothing Market at Hou Shan Pi. Everything is super cheap here. There are racks of clothes in front of every store where things cost about $3 USD each. They wear really fun clothes here.

Handicapped seats on the Taipei, Taiwan MRT subway. These blue seats are reserved for pregnant, disabled, and elderly people. I can't believe it, but no one will sit here on a totally packed train.
